​You don't always need to buy new if your current laptop is due for replacement. A refurbished laptop could meet your computer needs without the high cost of buying new. These have been checked over and reset, ready for their next owner. Talk to Waihi Computers about your options.

Help With Setup​

We can also help with data transfer and setup, even if the old laptop is faulty. This means transferring the data (e.g. photos and documents) from your old device to the replacement, getting you up and running quickly without the hassle.

Buying New

If you prefer to go new, we advise avoiding the cheap $400-$800 range as they are often very limited in what they can do and not worth the money paid. If you need something in that price range, try a refurbished model instead. Typically the laptops worth buying start at around $1,000.

Although Waihi Computers does not sell new computers and laptops at present, we do provide a free service to help customers find the right one at a local retailer.
